Fire Breaks Out on Electric Train at Brody Station

A fire broke out on an electric train at Brody Station, prompting a swift response from local railway workers. Reports indicate that the incident occurred in the morning hours when railway employees noticed smoke emanating from the electric train that was stationed there. Preliminary investigations suggest that the smoke was caused by a technical malfunction.

In a prompt reaction, railway personnel contacted emergency services and efficiently moved the affected train to a sidetrack using a locomotive. This quick action was crucial in preventing the situation from escalating further.

Firefighters arrived shortly thereafter and successfully managed to eliminate the smoke by mid-morning. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported among the railway staff as a result of the incident. However, the fire suppression efforts did lead to a significant delay for a freight train at the station, which was held up for approximately one hour and forty minutes.

Authorities are expected to conduct a thorough investigation into the cause of the malfunction and consider measures to prevent similar incidents in the future.
