Russian Forces Strike Zaporizhia, Causing Significant Damage to Residential Areas
In a recent escalation of hostilities, Russian military forces launched an attack on the city of Zaporizhia, resulting in considerable damage to residential areas. According to Анатолий Куртев, the secretary of the Zaporizhia City Council, the strike affected 40 buildings across three different districts of the city.
The attack led to substantial destruction, with specific reports indicating that five homes were nearly destroyed while over 40 others sustained various degrees of damage. «Residential structures in three areas of the city were impacted by the strike. Currently, it is confirmed that five buildings are in a state of partial ruin, and more than 40 others were affected,» Куртев stated in his Telegram channel.
In terms of casualties, two individuals suffered minor injuries and sought medical attention. «Two people sustained light injuries and received initial medical assistance,» he added, reassuring the public about the response from local health services.
