National Bank of Poland Launches «I Believe in Poland» Silver Coin Collection
The National Bank of Poland has officially unveiled a new collection of silver coins titled «I Believe in Poland.» The inaugural coin in this series, named «Free and Sovereign Poland,» is now available for purchase.
This coin boasts a face value of 10 zlotys and is crafted from Ag 925 silver. With a diameter of 32 mm and a weight of 14.14 grams, it features a limited mintage of just 10,000 pieces. Collectors and enthusiasts can acquire the coin at regional branches of the National Bank of Poland or through the online shop «Kolekcjoner,» where it is priced at 230 zlotys.
A notable design aspect of the coin is found on its reverse side, which depicts a boy and girl holding the red-and-white Polish flag, beautifully illustrated in a child-like style. The obverse showcases iconic Polish landmarks, including the Royal Castle, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, and Wawel Cathedral. This coin marks the beginning of the «I Believe in Poland» series.
Through this initiative, the National Bank of Poland pays tribute to the resilience and strength of the Polish people in their pursuit of freedom and sovereignty. Each coin in the series symbolizes significant historical events and national emblems, emphasizing the unwavering spirit of the Polish nation in defending its identity and independence.
