26-Year-Old Sentenced for Drug Trafficking in Chernivtsi Region
A 26-year-old resident of Luzhany village in the Chernivtsi region has been sentenced to six years in prison, along with the confiscation of assets (excluding housing), for illegal drug-related activities.
During the court proceedings, it was revealed that the individual was involved in drug sales using the «drop» method in Chernivtsi. Law enforcement officials discovered ten packets of the synthetic drug PVP in his possession during the investigation.
As the sentence has not yet entered into force, the convicted individual will remain in custody. The preliminary investigation was conducted by detectives from the Chernivtsi District Police Department.
