Fire Breaks Out at Tripolskaya Thermal Power Plant Amid Military Attack in Kyiv Region

In the early hours following the attack, Ruslan Kravchenko, head of the Kyiv Regional Administration, confirmed that the fire ignited at a site of critical infrastructure due to hostilities launched by Russian forces. Although the fire has been partially extinguished, emergency responders are utilizing all available resources to mitigate the situation. Energy workers have successfully restored power supply, ensuring that residents have access to electricity, while water supply and sewage systems in the affected areas have also been restored.
In response to the ongoing crisis, Alexander Turenko, the mayor of Ukrainka, urged residents to charge their devices and stockpile water, emphasizing that «stability points» are operational around the clock to provide assistance in the region.
