In a concerning development, Russian forces have launched a group of combat drones from the Black Sea towards the Odesa region, specifically targeting the area near Zatoka. This aggressive action has prompted authorities to declare a threat of ballistic missile attacks in multiple regions.

According to the Ukrainian Air Force, alerts regarding the potential use of ballistic weaponry were reported in the Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, and Kharkiv regions. The potential threat was later extended to the Poltava region as well.

Drones were first detected in the Belgorod-Dnistrovskyi district of Odesa at approximately 3:50 AM, moving in a northern direction. Local media reported explosions occurring in the vicinity around 4:10 AM, causing alarm among residents. By 4:24 AM, military officials confirmed the conclusion of the immediate threat.

Reports from Suspilne (Public Television) indicate that residents in Odesa heard explosions along with the sound of drones, signifying heightened activity in the area.
