Deputy Minister Warns: Conscripts at Risk of Fines for Outdated Data
Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine for Digitalization Katerina Chernogorenko has issued a warning to military conscripts who have not updated their data, stating that they are at risk of facing fines. In an interview for the Army TV channel on YouTube, Chernogorenko highlighted the importance of keeping information current to avoid penalties.
Chernogorenko revealed that employees of Territorial Recruitment Centers have the authority to conduct document checks on the streets. During these checks, conscripts may be asked to show their military registration document. Using the technical capabilities of leading registries, such as «Obereg,» officials can quickly verify personal data with the help of a QR code to ensure accuracy.
If a conscript fails to update their information within 60 days of the mobilization law coming into effect, the Territorial Recruitment Center has the right to involve the police for enforcement. Fines for non-compliance will be automatically enforced if other state registries have sufficient information for verification.
