Ukrainian Parliament Considers Increase in Electricity Imports Amid Winter Energy Needs
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is currently exploring the option of boosting electricity imports from neighboring Moldova and Romania to ensure that the population is adequately supplied with electricity and heating during the winter months. Lawmaker Volodymyr Moroz revealed the country’s plans to increase electricity imports by 500 megawatts as a measure to secure stable energy supplies.
