Ukraine to Expand Humanitarian Program Grain From Ukraine Worldwide

In his Telegram channel, the head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak announced Ukraine’s intentions to expand the humanitarian program Grain From Ukraine to various regions of the world. Discussions are currently underway regarding possible deliveries to Haiti, Chad, Cameroon, Tanzania, Djibouti, and other countries.

«Our diplomats are actively promoting Grain From Ukraine at the international level through public and digital diplomacy, as well as the Together We Rise project in Nairobi, Kenya,» the official noted. He also recalled that since the fall of 2022, Ukraine has already sent 221.41 thousand tons of agricultural products to 10 countries in Africa and Asia, including 195 thousand tons of wheat, 22.265 thousand tons of wheat flour, and 4.141 thousand tons of split peas. This has helped ensure food security for approximately 8 million people.

«Some of our food is being purchased by participating countries. This is a beneficial strategy for all parties: our international partners support the Ukrainian economy and improve the food situation in the world at the same time,» emphasized A. Yermak.
