In the village of Kushnitsya, a Chevrolet driver hit a woman who was walking along the roadside. 51-year-old Halyna Prodan died from her injuries.
The police quickly found and arrested the driver, who had fled the scene of the accident. It turned out that he was intoxicated.
The driver is currently in temporary detention, facing up to 10 years in prison.
