Kharkiv Zoo Welcomes a New Resident: Meet Marvel the Zebra
Kharkiv Zoo has recently received a generous gift from Feldman Eco Park — a zebra named Marvel. Visitors will soon have the opportunity to see the beautiful new addition at the zoo.
Collaboration for Conservation: Kharkiv Zoo and Feldman Eco Park Join Forces
During the difficult times of war, Kharkiv Zoo provided shelter for chimpanzees, orangutans, and large predators from Feldman Eco Park. Now, both institutions are planning to work together on programs for the conservation of endangered animal species in Ukraine and around the world, as well as to enhance animal protection efforts.
Recovery and Resilience: Feldman Eco Park Reopens After Devastating War
Following severe damage caused by intensive shelling during the invasion, Feldman Eco Park has resumed operations since the summer of 2023. Despite the loss of structures, employees, and animals, the eco park has begun rebuilding and recently welcomed back many evacuated animals. The park also received a group of deer and roe deer, which will be released into the forests of Kharkiv affected by the war.
