K-pop group SHINee celebrates their 16th anniversary
K-pop group SHINee has decided to delight their fans on the occasion of the 16th anniversary of the collective by releasing a music video for the track «Honesty», which was released in 2012. The lyrics of the song were written by Kim Jonghyun, who passed away in 2017. The video was uploaded on the group’s official Youtube page.
The video consists of a simple slideshow of SHINee photos from different years. In the comments section of the video, fans express their gratitude to the musicians for the emotions they give, and write that «once you become a Shawol (as fans of this group are called), you remain one forever».
This video will be just one of the gifts for the fans. From May 24 to May 26, SHINee also held three celebratory concerts.
BTS members reveal military service plans
It was previously reported that all members of the popular K-pop group BTS are undergoing mandatory military service in South Korea, which has led to the suspension of their professional music activities. However, it has recently been revealed when each member of the group will finish their military service. The first member will return to civilian life this autumn.
