Roman Rudenko granted special permit for sand mining after involvement in amber case

The State Service of Geology and Subsoil of Ukraine has approved the results of an auction in which LLC «Amberking Send», owned by Roman Rudenko, became the winner and received a special permit for sand extraction in the Yavoriv region. The starting price of the lot was 602 thousand UAH, but «Amberking Send» offered 8.1 million UAH, which set a record sum for a special permit at the regional level.

Roman Rudenko is the owner of this company and several others specializing in mineral extraction. He is also known for his involvement in the so-called amber case, where he was accused of aiding MPs in illegal amber extraction. The case is still pending in court.

Continued Involvement in Extraction Industry

Despite this, Roman Rudenko continues his active involvement in the extraction industry, successfully participating in auctions to obtain special permits.
