The Lost Palace of Collingeston

The Collingeston Palace, once owned by Lady Margaret Beaufort, mother of King Henry VII, was destroyed over 400 years ago. A group of amateur archaeologists has recently discovered its remains in a village in Northamptonshire, England.

Chaps: The Discovery Team

The Collingeston History Preservation Society (Chaps) consists of over 80 members, ranging from teenagers to people in their 70s and 80s. In March 2018, researchers began their quest to find the lost palace using local tales and rumors. Despite having no money or expertise, the team’s hard work and determination led them to this remarkable discovery.
