Successful operation dismantles criminal organization manufacturing amphetamines
The Police Press Service of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk region has reported a successful operation in December 2023 to dismantle a criminal organization involved in the manufacturing of amphetamines. Law enforcement officers seized a total of 400 kg of drugs during the operation.
According to the police, the criminal group was comprised of 10 individuals from Novomoskovsk, Kryvyi Rih, and Dnipro. They had rented several garages and a private house in the region where they set up laboratories for the production of amphetamines. The criminals were operating an online store on the Telegram messenger for drug orders.
Eight members of the criminal organization now face up to 12 years in prison, with two of them currently being sought by law enforcement authorities.
