In Kharkiv, a New Musical Fountain with Monkeys is Now Open!
In Kharkiv, in the Shevchenko Garden, a musical fountain with monkeys has been opened. This was reported by the city council.
During the winter period, the fountain was covered with a special protective structure. Today it was dismantled and the fountain is being prepared for operation.
The fountain consists of three tiers and 13 figures of musician monkeys that move to the music. It was installed in the summer of 2019, on the City Day. The installation was carried out by specialists from Turkey.
There are already several functioning fountains in Kharkiv’s Central Park:
— fountains in the form of children figures with umbrellas;
— children’s fountain «Elephants»;
— fountain in the French Park.
In 2022, due to shelling, the fountains were not working. In 2023, their operation was restored.
