Massive Rocket Attack Hits Lviv Region
Today, during a massive rocket attack by Russia on Ukrainian territory, there were also hits in the Lviv region.
This was reported by the head of the Lviv regional military administration Maxim Kozytskyi in Telegram.
«It is an industrial facility in Drohobych. Partial destruction of the building was recorded. There is a fire raging on an area of about 300 square meters. Firefighters are working at the scene,» he noted.
It is also noted that there is currently no information about casualties or fatalities.
Kozytskyi also reported that the air defense forces shot down one rocket in the Stryi district. «There are no victims or casualties. No damaged objects either,» he added.
Updated at 10:24. The fire in Drohobych has now been extinguished.
«At around 09:30, the fire at the industrial facility in Drohobych was extinguished. According to the State Emergency Service, as a result of the fire, the roof covering an area of 500 square meters and a garbage truck were damaged. No one was injured,» Kozytskyi reported.
