Rescue of Horses Lastochka and Schastlivchik Successfully Evacuated from Kupyansk
The organization «Animal Rescue Kharkiv» successfully evacuated the horses Lastochka and Schastlivchik from Kupyansk thanks to their efforts.
A plea for help came from the owner of the animals due to intense shelling that threatened their lives.
The evacuation process proved to be challenging: the horse Schastlivchik, who was not trained for transport, required special skills for transportation. Anastasia, a professional equestrian specializing in show jumping, was needed to handle this.
Lastochka was loaded faster, but it took 4 hours of persistent efforts to deal with Schastlivchik. The horse resisted, reared up, but eventually he was convinced to cooperate.
Schastlivchik has already been placed with a new family in a safer location. Lastochka, along with four goats, was transported to a familiar owner in Kharkiv.
