Visit of Delegation of Armed Forces of France to Ukraine
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a delegation of the Armed Forces of the French Republic, led by General Thierry Burkhard, Chief of the Joint Staff of the Armed Forces of France, visited Ukraine.
Major General Anatoliy Bargilyevich, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, emphasized the importance of such a visit during such a difficult time for Ukraine as a testimony of support and solidarity in the war against the Russian Federation.
During the meeting, the delegation was briefed on the operational situation on the front line, discussed cooperation in the field of defense, and mutual assistance in providing military aid.
Major General Bargilyevich also expressed gratitude for the support and assistance in the training of Ukrainian military personnel both in France and within the framework of the European Union mission.
