Rescuers Save Man with Burns from Apartment Explosion in Kyiv

Rescuers successfully saved a man who suffered burns during an explosion in his apartment in the Dniprovskyi district of Kyiv. The incident occurred during a fire and was reported by the State Emergency Service of Kyiv.

The fire was reported at a building on Kharkivske Highway on May 1 at 00:36. It started in an apartment on the fifth floor, with the suspected cause being a gas explosion.

Thankfully, rescuers were able to save the man who had burns on his face, hands, and body. He was promptly taken to the hospital for treatment.

The fire was successfully extinguished by 01:04. Further investigations will be conducted by law enforcement officers to determine the exact cause of the fire.
