Municipal Workers Plant Three Thousand Pine Seedlings on Trukhaniv Island

Municipal workers from the Dnipro district of Kyiv have completed the planting of three thousand pine seedlings on Trukhaniv Island. This was reported by «Kyivzelenbud».

On an area of ​​0.4 hectares, new trees were successfully planted, which will contribute to improving the ecological situation on the island.

Last week, active greening of the city was also carried out. Maples, lindens, as well as various shrubs such as barberry, spirea, magnolia, kerria, hibiscus, and honeysuckle, appeared in the parks and squares of Kyiv.

Thanks to the support of patrons, over 20 lilac bushes were planted in Navodnytsky Park in the Pechersk district.

In 2023, over 8,000 trees, almost 80,000 shrubs, and 6.5 million flowers were planted in city parks, squares, and boulevards, significantly improving the greenery of Kyiv.
