The price of Bitcoin drops amidst global economic concerns

The price of Bitcoin, along with the overall cryptocurrency market, dropped on Tuesday due to concerns about the global economy and a decrease in summer liquidity.

According to Coin Metrics, the price of Bitcoin fell by 3% to $64,680.44, dropping below $65,000 for the first time since May 16. Earlier in the day, the price fell to $64,347.91. Ether lost 4%, trading at $3,401.37. Other cryptocurrencies experienced even greater losses. XRP Ripple dropped by 6%, while the token SOL Solana slipped by 7%, and dogecoin experienced a drop of 11%.
