In Lviv, on Zelena Street, there was an attack on the driver of the route bus «Lviv — Novyi Rozdil»
An unknown passenger seized proceeds in the amount of 1140 hryvnias and also hit the driver several times on the head. This was reported by the press service of the police in Lviv region.
Passengers Acted Swiftly
As a result of the attack, other passengers were able to detain the perpetrator and called law enforcement officers. After the investigation, it was established that the perpetrator is a 20-year-old resident of Lviv. The perpetrator has been arrested and informed of the suspicion of the committed offense.
Legal Consequences
The sanction of the article under which the perpetrator may be convicted provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for a term of seven to ten years. Soon, the court will decide on the preventive measure for the detainee.
