NASA Mars Simulation Experiment

NASA has launched a search for volunteers willing to spend a whole year in Mars Dune Alpha — a special facility created to simulate life on Mars. This experiment will begin in the spring of 2025, with four «astronauts» making up the crew.

Preparing for Mars Mission

The Mars Dune Alpha facility, located at NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas, is equipped with everything necessary for the year-long experiment. The goal is to prepare for the first manned flight to the Red Planet, with a focus on understanding the challenges of living and working in a Martian environment.
