The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine allocated 16.1 million UAH for the creation of a special broadcasting that will block anti-Ukrainian propaganda in four border regions.

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, citing RegioNews.

«The government is actively deploying a special television and radio broadcasting network in border areas aimed at stopping hostile propaganda and ensuring information security in Ukraine’s airwaves,» said Deputy Minister of Economy Vitaliy Kyndrativ.

In March of this year, the government already allocated 124.4 million UAH for the development of the special network in Volyn, Rivne, Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Vinnytsia, and Odesa regions.

Additionally, 16.1 million UAH was allocated for the regions of Donetsk, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson. Of this amount, 13.2 million UAH comes from the state budget’s reserve fund, and another 2.9 million UAH is from savings from previous procurements in the first nine regions.
