The 12th Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine «Azov» will join the modernization of the course «Defense of Ukraine» for students in grades 10-11, the brigade’s press service reported.
The Azov fighters will train future trainers in the field of military management theory according to NATO standards.
Participants of the training course will receive unique knowledge from brigade servicemen about modern military conflicts and coordination of various armed forces in a unified operations management system.
«The main task of the trainers will be to improve the course program and provide it to students in an interesting and practically useful way. Our trainers will pass on this unique knowledge to their students during classes,» the report said.
The Ministry of Education and Science is conducting a comprehensive review of the course «Defense of Ukraine». As part of the course, students will acquire skills in first aid, marksmanship training, orienteering, basics of combat actions, communication and interaction in combat, as well as familiarize themselves with types of military equipment and military technologies. Educational institutions will receive modern marksmanship equipment, drones, simulators, and other training tools.
