President Zelensky Refuses to Publicly Evaluate Chief of Armed Forces Amid Front Difficulties

Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrsky, faced difficulties on the front, however, President Volodymyr Zelensky refused to publicly evaluate his work. Zelensky made this statement during a press conference.

When asked by journalists about Syrsky’s effectiveness as the commander-in-chief, Zelensky answered: «Everyone is doing their job in their place. I believe that everyone should be respected. This is a matter for the future, after the war.»

The President also emphasized the importance of everyone working to defend Ukraine, noting that Syrsky defended Kharkiv and is a huge asset in the current situation.

«It is difficult for me to say what would have happened if someone else were in his place. He knows Kharkiv, and that is important. But I do not want to compare. The important thing is that Kharkiv was not occupied. We stopped them, and that is a great victory,» Zelensky added.
