At the botanical garden of Oles Honchar Dnipropetrovsk National University, animals, including owls, have been affected by abnormally high temperatures.
This was reported by the director of the garden, Anatoliy Kabara, on his Facebook page. A photo published by the director shows a fluffy owl seeking shade from the heat under the trees.
Earlier, it was reported that record temperatures of up to 45°C were expected in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
Currently, the level of danger in the region remains at level III (red), indicating critical conditions for the health of both people and animals. Local residents are urged to follow safety measures, avoiding prolonged exposure to the sun, ensuring adequate hydration, and protecting themselves from overheating.
