Organized Crime Group Members Found Guilty of Drug Trafficking in Kropyvnytskyi
Three members of an organized crime group in Kropyvnytskyi have been found guilty of illegal purchase, storage, and transfer of narcotic substances into prison. According to reports from the press service of the regional prosecutor’s office, the group leader was sentenced to 11 years in prison with property confiscation, while the co-organizer and executor were sentenced to 10 years in prison with property confiscation by the Kirovsky district court of Kirovohrad.
Prosecutors confirmed during the trial that the convicts, who were incarcerated at Kropyvnytskyi Correctional Colony No. 6, were involved in the distribution of illegal drugs such as cannabis and methadone throughout 2021.
