Explosion in Dnipro: Rocket Attack Sparks Fires and Ongoing Assaults in Nikopol
In a recent incident in Dnipro, locals reported hearing a significant explosion around midday, with thick smoke shortly rising into the sky. This explosion has been attributed to a missile strike by Russian forces, according to the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration. Thankfully, the blaze triggered by the attack was swiftly extinguished by firefighters, and there have been no reported casualties or injuries.
The series of assaults has not been limited to Dnipro. Russian military forces also targeted the Nikopol area, but thankfully, no injuries were reported there either. However, the tranquility in Nikopol was short-lived, as reports indicate that enemy attacks recommenced early in the day. More than a dozen assaults were documented throughout the day, including artillery shelling and drone strikes.
Cities such as Nikopol, Myrivske, and Pokrovsk have been significantly impacted by these ongoing attacks. Reports confirm that a fire station was struck, as well as the destruction of a dormitory and an agricultural enterprise. While a private company’s warehouse also caught fire, it was extinguished rapidly, and fortunately, there were no injuries to the people involved. Nonetheless, significant damage was sustained, including the destruction of one house and a truck.
