Farmers in western Romania anticipate successful rapeseed harvest

Farmers in western Romania are looking forward to a successful rapeseed harvest, as the fields have received enough moisture for optimal growth. According to «UkrAgroConsult», some farms are expecting a high yield of up to 4.5 tons per hectare.

Local agrarians are hopeful for a price increase after the harvest, attributed to frosts that damaged rapeseed crops in neighboring Poland, high demand from Germany, and lower production forecasts in the European Union for the year 2024.
