Changes have been made to the parking scheme on Tchaikovsky Lane, located next to the Odessa Opera House.

Prohibited Parking on Even Side

Now, parking is prohibited on the even side of the lane (closer to Primorsky Boulevard), while paid parking with a rate of 20 hryvnias per hour during working hours has been introduced on the odd side (towards the Opera House), reports a correspondent of «Dumskaya».

New Road Signs Installation

New road signs are currently being installed on site, leading to conflicts between municipal workers and representatives of the Opera House, hotels, and other establishments located on the lane.

No Fines in Early Days

«We hope for public understanding regarding these changes. There will be no fines in the first few days. Municipal service inspectors will start monitoring compliance with the new rules after the installation of the «No Parking» signs and the implementation of the new scheme,» said the director of the transport department, Volodymyr Khitrenko, in an interview with «Dumskaya».

Free Parking during Non-Working Hours

Parking on the odd side of the lane remains free during non-working hours. Additionally, there is an option to purchase a monthly pass for 2000 hryvnias.
