A new bicycle patrol in Kyiv
A bicycle patrol of the municipal guard has started working on the streets and in the parks of Kyiv, as reported by the Municipal Guard.
In particular, the bicycle patrols have begun working on Trukhanov Island and in the Partisan Glory Park.
Director of the Municipal Guard Serhii Chernyshev mentioned that if their work proves to be effective, the issue of increasing the number of bicycle patrols in the capital’s large parks will be considered.
Since the start of the bicycle patrol in the Partisan Glory Park, a 4-year-old boy was found. The child, who had wandered away from his mother while riding a bike, got lost in the thickets of the park area. The danger was that the boy continued to ride towards the park, which transitions into a forest, making it much more difficult to find him there.
Representatives of the Municipal Guard found the boy within 10 minutes and safely returned him to his mother.
