A Fire Breaks Out at Trypilska Thermal Power Plant
A fire broke out at the Trypilska thermal power plant in the Kyiv region on the night of April 11 as a result of a massive military attack. According to the chairman of the supervisory board of Centrenergo, Andriy Hota, a significant fire broke out in the turbine hall due to shelling, but plant workers on duty during the attack survived.
Efforts to Restore Services
In the morning, Kyiv regional administration head Ruslan Kravchenko reported that a fire occurred at a critical infrastructure facility due to a military attack from Russia. The fire has been partially extinguished, and all available equipment resources are being used by rescuers. Power engineers have restored electricity supply, ensuring all residents have light, and water supply and sewage systems in affected communities have been reinstated.

Mayor Oleksandr Turenko of Ukrainka urged residents to charge devices and stock up on water, adding that «Resilience Points» are operating 24/7 for assistance in the area.
