Intense Shelling Strikes Three Regions in Donetsk Oblast

Over the past day, reports have emerged detailing intense shelling affecting three areas of Donetsk Oblast, as stated by Vadim Filashkin, the head of the regional military administration.

In the Pokrovsk district, the village of Ochertino suffered a devastating attack, resulting in one fatality and two injuries. The assault caused damage to two apartment buildings, while an airstrike hit the village of Krasnohorivka. Additionally, the settlements of Yekaterinivka and Yelyzavetivka were subjected to artillery fire, and there was a recorded rocket strike on the outskirts of Pokrovsk.

Meanwhile, the Kramatorsk district experienced similar turmoil, with the villages of Yampolivka and Terny in the Lyman community coming under fire. In the morning, Slavyansk faced a shelling that resulted in damage to two apartment buildings, and other villages within the Konstantynivka community also fell victim to the bombardment.

The Bakhmut district reported significant destruction as well, with two residential buildings and an infrastructure facility damaged in Toretsk. Three structures were affected in Shcherbynivka, while the Chasovoyarska community saw damage to 14 private homes and one apartment building. Furthermore, two residential buildings and two non-residential facilities in Siversk sustained damage.

In total, Russian forces conducted 12 shelling attacks on settlements within the region throughout the day. As a result, 59 individuals, including three children, were evacuated from frontline areas. The situation remains dire as local authorities continue to address the security and humanitarian needs of affected communities.
