Valeriy and Vitaliy Vasilake Apprehended After Attack
Valeriy and Vitaliy Vasilake, suspects in an attack on police officers in the Vinnytsia region, were apprehended by police. The duo had been planning to flee abroad, but thanks to a well-coordinated police operation, they were captured.
A video showing the arrest of the suspects and the inspection of their vehicle was released by the National Police. Traces of blood were found in the car, indicating that one of the attackers had been injured. Along with bloodstained clothing and documents, other material evidence was also seized.
The Security Service of Ukraine is now investigating the possible involvement of the suspects in actions carried out by sabotage-reconnaissance groups.
