Fire in Lviv Region Leaves Man Severely Burned While Attempting to Save Home

A recent fire in the Zolochiv district of Lviv region has resulted in a 23-year-old man suffering second-degree burns to his hands as he bravely attempted to rescue his home from the flames.

The blaze quickly engulfed the residence, leading to the complete destruction of the roof and the veranda. The man’s efforts to combat the fire were met with tragedy when he sustained serious injuries during the rescue attempt. Emergency services were alerted and he was promptly hospitalized with moderate burns at the Central City Hospital in Brody.

Authorities from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported the incident, emphasizing the importance of fire safety and awareness in residential areas. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation, as firefighters worked diligently to extinguish the flames and prevent further damage to surrounding properties.
