Zolochiv and Chervonograd districts of Lviv region
In Zolochiv and Chervonograd districts of Lviv region, farmers have already planted sugar beets on an area of 4.2 thousand hectares, which is 27% of the total estimated area for this crop. This was reported by the Department of Agricultural Development of the Lviv Regional State Administration.
Spring crops in Lviv region
In total, agricultural enterprises in the region plan to plant 178.2 thousand hectares of spring crops, which is 41.9% of the total estimated area. In addition, potatoes and vegetables have already been planted on an area of 249 hectares. Currently, planting of early grains is continuing on an area of 5.5 thousand hectares, which is 38% of the forecast.
